Ronald McDonald House is more than just a charity to the Koning family, it became a vital part of their lives during the most difficult time imaginable. Their daughter Luna lived an intense and far-too-short life, filled with hospital visits, uncertainty, and where every moment shared mattered. During that time, they experienced firsthand how incredibly important it is for parents to stay close to their child, especially when things are at their hardest. Ronald McDonald House Leiden provided that support, comfort, and closeness when they needed it most.
As a family friend of the Koning’s, I designed this print to help support their Run for Luna fundraiser. The print will be available at the Mooresville Arts Center Gallery for the duration of the Paint & Print Exhibition (May 19 – June 25), and all profits from the sale will be added to the total funds raised for this cause.
Direct contributions can also be made through the donation page, although it is in Dutch and can be a bit difficult to use internationally. Donating works best when the page is not translated into English :)
