Ik doe in juni mee aan HomeSport Events en zal ons team “Strijders” begeleiden; we gaan 24 uur sporten om geld op te halen voor het Ronald McDonald Kinderfonds!
Onze vrienden Arjen en Janet hebben 177 nachten in een Ronald McDonald huis doorgebracht na de vroeggeboorte van hun drieling. Op 24 juni 2021 is één van de drie, Ruben, een week voor zijn verjaardag overleden. Nu, vijf jaar later, gaan wij samen met familie en vrienden iets terugdoen zodat ook andere gezinnen dichtbij hun zieke kind kunnen zijn.

💙 24 hours of exercise for Ruben and the Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund – will you help us to make a difference?
In June I will take part in the HomeSport Event as captain logistics of our team “Strijders” – also known as the “Warriors”. Together we will exercise for 24 hours straight to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund.
This challenge is very personal to us. Our close friends Arjen and Janet spent 177 nights in a Ronald McDonald House after the premature birth of their triplets. On June 24, 2021, one of the three, Ruben, sadly passed away just one week before his 1st birthday.
Now, five years later, together with family and friends, we want to honour Ruben by giving something back. By supporting the Ronald McDonald Children’s Fund, we help other families stay close to their sick child during the most difficult times.
